Friday March 11th the Linn County Republican Party had a successful event featuring 5 of the republican candidates running in the primary for the US Senate seat in Oregon. We opened the event with the premier of our Non Affiliated Voter Outreach Video. The video was produced by our Communications chair Ben Roche with the help and support of Marks in Time Photography, and the narration provided by former Oregon state representative Jeff Kropf who hosts "Political Coffee" weekdays 6-7am on KSLM Radio. The video runs 2 minutes, 16 second and shows a visual contrast between Linn County and Benton County leadership in terms of public safety, homelessness, and the decay of society. Our target audience is those disenfranchised in our community that may consider joining us in this primary election.
We have created a new landing page here on our website specifically for this NAV outreach campaign. To get to it you can share with others the short URL: www.linngop.com/vote where visitors will be redirected to our official website, find some key platform positions targeted to reach non-affiliated voters, and a message from our chair Melissa Barnard. The page also includes information such as links to the secretary of state website to update voter registration and our how to register to vote video guide.
In late March 2022 a direct mailing will be going out to nearly 5000 registered voters who are ready for a change but are not registered as Republican's in Linn County. This post card mailing echos what you find at www.linngop.com/vote and includes the Melissa's message on the back.
Now consider this, the Republican voter registration in Linn County is strong however we are the "Little Red Heart of the Valley" and if we beat strong we can create a ripple effect that will reach Benton, Lane, and push the RED WAVE in all directions.
